This company is not just a “business.” Island Construction is my life-long dream come true. I immigrated to Chicago from Currow, Castle Island, County Kerry, Ireland which became my company’s namesake. Coming to America was a dream come true for me.
I spent the summer of ’82 bricklaying and honing my craft. I learned the ins and outs of the construction industry.
